What Sanatan Gyan is
Sanatan Gyan is a small independent publication. We present the Bhagavad Gita, stories of the deities, and India’s festival cycle in clear Hindi and English, so readers remember more than names — they can follow meaning into practice.
This site is not tied to a monastery, political party, or commercial temple group. We honour tradition, and we also join each reading to modern life — family, work, choices, and small practices of calm.
How we write
Gita verses appear in Sanskrit. The short meaning comes from traditional commentators, and their names appear on the chapter page. The essence and life example are our own commentary. We do not claim this is the only correct reading. Traditional teacher-lineages and the source texts remain the authority.
Deity and festival pages gather puranic story, symbolism, regional custom, and dates in one place. The aim is not to copy an encyclopedia, but to tell the story in a voice you can read at home.
